Hi everybody. I'm having tummy ache now so i'm going to type this post very fast and this would be a short one. :)
I'm feeling so fidgety lately. ARGH can be used too. I'm ill today and i didn't make it to school. wonder what's happening in school today... Ugh, my parents so strongly against me not attending school even though i'm sick and i don't want to be sick too! :/
I'm going to talk about yesterday's sermon because i did not attend processing due to the malaysia trip. I think i'm going to die or something like that. 'If you want to grow, you have to go.' Alrights, the definition of this sentence to me is that if i want to become stronger and more experienced, i have to get out of the safety zone and take the risk. It's like don't be afarid to take up any challenge because in the end, there's something beneficial awaiting for you. I think this is very inspirational as it motivates one to get on the go. If one keeps telling herself that she's tired or not good for anything, she won't be able to make it big or even dare to take up any challenge because she thinks that she can't do anything well and is a loser. Don't look at the past or brood over any past bondages as all these will demoralise you. Look at the future, visualise it as a bright bright one. This would help you to motivate your spirit and yearn for more. If one keeps living in the past, the person would only have the past in all her life. In conclusion, this parallels to our willingness to take risks for God and how much do we yearn for him. Are we able to really trust all our inheritance unto God's hands? If you do, you're on the road of blessings. If not, push yourself! A broken and contrite heart, I will not despise. :)
Thank you Lord, in Jesus' name we pray,
AMEN! :)
Bye folks, i need to go to the toilet now. :)

SuperStar
This is the song by Ps Eugene's son, Ben, which Ps E shared last Sunday. These were what Ben wrote about his song on his blog:
Where do we find our worth? There's always someone better, someone smarter, someone stronger, and the list goes on. In conclusion, there is no where on earth we can find our worth, in a literal sense. We all strive to be that superstar, to stand out, failing to realise the mere beauty of our existense. We are His proudest creation, made in His liking. We already are valuable from the point of the birth, already a star. So shine on (: not for the glory of one's self but for our Creator. For that is the only way we can shine, through the very Source of Light!
May every word seep deep into your heart. Receive it!

"Just like the stars in the night sky
My child you shine so brightly in My eyes
How could you doubt My creation
Everytime you look down on your formation"
"Cos before I gave this earth life
I was thinking of you, your face was on My mind
That precious smile, the twinkle in your eye
Just as I planned, they look so much like Mine"
Chorus
"Special boy, special girl
Why do you do this to yourself?
Don't you know, how much you make Me glad
And I'm proud to be your Dad
Precious boy, precious girl
Can you not see how much you're worth?
Just think, you must have been worth something big
Cos i would'nt come and die just for nothing"
"Do you see the beauty of the sunrise?
Can you feel the coolness of the night?
But the purpose of these I was creating
Was for you, for you in the making"
"Cos long ago, I had a dream of you
You were more beautiful than the stars and the moon
Then you were made fearfully, wonderfully
So as I've dreamed for you, would you now dream for Me?"
Chorus 2
"Special boy, special girl
Wipe those tears of your face
Cos I paid for you with the fullness of My grace
Just so you could feel again the warmth of My embrace
Precious boy, precious girl
Plaeas don't change the way you are
Can't you see? You're so beautiful to Me
Can't you see, can't you see"
Bridge
"Child, I love you
I believe in you
Child, do you know how much I care?"
"Child, don't listen to them
Child, I hope you know that I'll always be here
You are special in My eyes"

Muar-ha-ha-ha
After prayer meeting, let's talk about muar!
Heh. Yes this year i went with expectations to meet God plus also i wanted strength for the 100k too.
But then after reaching there, the sessions was good but then God didn't really touched me and i was kind of disappointed but told God, i don't know but all these times now, Lord take it, and do your work in me.
So here comes the second day!
I really thank God for the structure of the re-encounter this year. Although this year only had 3 sessions, the part where we did our study of the word and the Holy spirit thingy. I think it was really powerful.
There were also more bonding session which i was really thankful for. God spoke to me about faith and trust. The amazing thing was that God reminded me for the verse which says faith as small as a mustard seed can blah blah just that i could not remember where it was from.
In ministry at night, mummy got the same verse. haha. At nights, i don't know why just kept singing worship songs and could feel a new sense of joy.
And in church, i felt so joyful and also felt so much more bolder for God. I was also lead to pray for ah qi and didididina heng :P after service, if i was my old self, i will hesitate until all of us leave the hall.
BUT ARh today arh, i just went and pray for them leh! heh. Also prayed for novie's mom in CHINESE also leh. miracle right? hahaha.
I think that's all for now. (=
Recharged, refreshed and ready to go!

We're In The GOD'S ARMY, Yes Sir!
Calling Out To ALL! :D
Prayer Meeting was superbly great. I mean FANTABULOUS! Laughs. The worship was truly awesome and what the singer-cum-maybe-a-pastor-i-don't-know is so true. " Worshiping = Praying " Songs of praises for Jesus and singing rather than saying is exactly praying! In fact, I prefer doing it in songs. I feel that by expressing our love for God by singing, shows and reveals our true feelings, emotions and whatever that we feel deep in our hearts. God loves our praises and worships for Him because He would so delirious with joy when we idolise and love Him as our One and Only living God. How GREAT is our God! Yeah, one thing that I should say. It is we should give our ALL AND ALL to Jesus! When it comes to singing praises or worshiping or doing whatever, WHATEVER for God, we should let go of ourselves and think only God, just not be so conscious of ourselves and express our ultimate love for Him in all the ways that we can. God already gave us ALL His love, couldn't we just give some to Him? I mean, definitely, we should give all. But, because God is so merciful and such a Mr. Nice, even a little bit of our love can touch Him because He really loves us a lot. None can compare to His great love! As for the 100k Challenge, i am sad and sorry to say that i feel nothing about it. So i pray that God will give me the passion and yearning to look forward to the challenge! This 100k challenge really challenges us. Not only in our boldness, but also tests us our faith and trust in God. If we believe in God who would give us the compassion and courage, we would do the challenge not only willingly but also do it for God! In the first place, we should not even think of ourseleves when doing this challenge but just entrust our successes unto God and He will do a miracle on us. It is just, do we believe in God? If we really love God, we should do it unconditionally like God ALWAYS does. So, no more murmuring, fear, disbelief or whatever because that are all SATAN'S WORK IN US! Sure, we do not want devil in us yeah? Therefore, pray for yourselves for this challenge! Believe, and you will be led by our WONDROUS EVER GOD!
Byebye!
See you in the 100K Challenge!
With lots and lots of love from God and me!

At the largest Prayer Meeting in the history of FCBC last night, i really felt the Corporate Anointing that God has been pouring upon His Warriors.
This line from Ps Khong stayed with me:
"The greatest authority God has given us is LOVE."
The authority to love, to share His love, to shine His love. How have i used this authority? Have i abused it? During the times when i chose not to love?
My heart broke last night. And i know the Lord has been breaking me a lot this month to prepare this vessel for Him. Tears streamed down my cheeks, in repentance and then receiving against the touch of God's love in my heart.
I cried to the Lord, 'More Lord, more Lord... Soften my heart more Lord. I need Your anointing of Love and Compassion MORE!'

The 100K Blessing is
1. God's Gift to the Nation
2. A Marketplace Ministry (we don't need to 'go'; we are already there!)
3. A Corporate Effort with Corporate Anointing
More to share on what God surfaced to me from last night's prayer meeting...

What is God's word for you?
During the EJ288 Re-encounter, each of us was asked to seek God for a word for the 100k Challenge.
Since He is our Chief Commander, and He truly understands our hearts, He definitely knows what to give to us individually to encourage us personally.
This is what the Lord told me:
100% God
And this was my response to God:
(i will) see to it
100% man
(Notice my own 'i' are in small letters)
What is God's word for you?
Are you spending enough time with Him as you prepare yourself and your heart for the Challenge? If your answer is no, most probably you will end up relying on yourself and wearing yourself out during it.
We cannot afford to be passive.
Yet I am always with You;
Those who are far from You will perish;
Since He is our Chief Commander, and He truly understands our hearts, He definitely knows what to give to us individually to encourage us personally.
This is what the Lord told me:
I who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 1:6)
100% God
And this was my response to God:
(i will) see to it
that i complete the work i have received
in the Lord.
(Colossians 4:17)
100% man
(Notice my own 'i' are in small letters)
Yes, it should always be:
100% God + 100% man
What is God's word for you?
Are you spending enough time with Him as you prepare yourself and your heart for the Challenge? If your answer is no, most probably you will end up relying on yourself and wearing yourself out during it.
We cannot afford to be passive.
Psalm 73:21-28
When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.
Yet I am always with You;
You hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with Your counsel,
and afterward You will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
And earth has nothing I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Those who are far from You will perish;
You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all Your deeds.

When your walk goes dry
i sought Amanda's permission to copy her post 'When your walk goes dry' from her minisermons blog (just added to blogroll). Go check out her treasures at that blog!
When i first read her 'secret' blog, i teared. Every word there showed me her heartfelt desire to grow in the Lord in and through all circumstances. She struggled, but clung on and grew deeper in Him. That is a true woman of God's strength.
Hard to believe she is only 15+ of age, and a 3-yr old Christian. Well praise God for transforming our lives! Aman dear, i am ultra supra dupra proud of you! =)

When your walk goes dry
15th May 2007
Recently i was very dry in my relationship with God that i soon gave up and let things be. I was only brought back as i confronted the problems i was having. And this blog too birthed out as i did not want to go back into the state of “dryness” and that i wanted to fully commit myself to God.
So far, this blog has been ‘forcing’ (i willingly let myself be forced) me to look onto God for revelations and to ask God and look unto Him for directions.
Many times we will experience dry parts of our life in seeking God and so be too caught up with everything around us too busy to look unto God and thinking that it doesn’t matter.
When i was in that state, i never pray. I just thought let me be, i can settle it myself don’t have to bother God. I’m too small for Him, too worthless. Why should he cares? Prayer have got no use to me at that time.
But of course that was totally off course. Of course He cares and He will answer the prayer i prayed as seen from Luke 18:1-8
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’
4“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’ “
6And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
From this passage, the word that came to my mind was, persevere.
Even through everything that happened to me in my life, i still attended church and i really thank God for that. And through this, i was also brought back to God the creator.
When you are in a rough patch of your life, would you still continue praying and thanking God for everything? Would you continue to trust God when you’re down?
I thank God that He never let let me go as He had promised.
Deut 31:6-Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
This song really ministered to me and i pray that even for people who may be reading this, i pray that you can persevere and experience the goodness of God.

Blessed.

Momobel, you really put in a lot of effort to liven up this blog. You're so appreciated. :)
And to Amandaee too. :D
Encounter was alright for me. I didn't really had a different experience or whatever.
Just for a few moments though, when I feel God's boundless love for me and His everlasting promise of blessings. Sometimes we reject God's interference in our daily lives and you could just feel how heartbroken God will be. By doing this, we're actually sinning against God. I filled the stronghold list and realised how sinful I am actually, Thanks be to God, that He sent His One and Only Son down to the earth and die for us on the cross that our sins may be washed away by His blood.
We should not have any strongholds in our lives and instead, let God be our stronghold. So, burn all your sinful strongholds away because they keep you away from God. Let God control yor lives instead of all that strongholds. We face many disappointments, rejections, hurts and pains in our lives. God has planned them so that we could be broken and humble in front of Him. If ouyr lives has always been so smooth-sailing, would we seek God? Actually to me, it's a no. Through all these, then we could become very mighty and strong Warriors of Lights who are never afraid of setbacks and attacks. In short, God just wants to be with us because He really loves us very dearly.
That's all I've got to say, end of speech. Thank you. :)

Making Prayer a Priority
Dear gals,
How is your prayer life like?
Are we neglecting this gift from God to be able to pray and talk to God above through prayer?
I thought that the tips below are simple and useful for us to strengthen our prayer life.
May 28, 2007
Making Prayer a Priority
By Marybeth Whalen
“The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.” Psalm 6:9 (NIV)
Devotion:
As Christians, it is one thing to know we need to pray, but it is another thing entirely to make prayer a priority in the course of our busy day. So today we’ll look at some practical ways to strengthen our prayer life no matter how busy we are. These are just tips and tricks I have picked up along the way through my own experience or from people I respect. I hope you will take a few of them and immediately apply them to your life. When our prayer life is strong, our walk with God and our time with Him is magnified a hundredfold.
1. Commit to spending the first moments of your day in prayer before you even get out of the bed. Get in the habit of devoting just a few minutes before you put your feet on the floor just claiming the day for Him and offering up all you will do for His glory and the good of His kingdom. Starting the day this way will help your perspective with whatever you have facing you, be it whiny kids or a demanding boss. Doing this daily will eventually become a habit.
2. When you feel yourself start to worry, use those thoughts as an immediate trigger to begin silently praying, no matter where you are or what you are doing.
3. Make your mealtimes a time for significant prayer. Whether this is something your whole family does, or just something you observe on your own, praying before you eat can become more than a quick, “Thank You for this food.”
4. Instead of spending your prayer time begging God for a list of needs, designate a time each day to do nothing but reflect on God’s goodness towards you and your family. Meditating on God’s blessings is a great way to strengthen your faith. As you reflect on what He has done, you will have confidence in what He will do.
5. Post index cards or post-it notes around your house to remind you of things to pray for. This can include prayer requests and praises. Every time you see the notes (including on our blog's Prayer Box), pray immediately.
6. Before you dive right into your prayers, spend some time being silent before God. Ask Him to speak to you in the silence. If you can, journal what He is telling you, whether it’s a word or phrase He brings to mind, a passage of Scripture He directs you to, or a word-picture He gives you, get it down on paper so you can reflect on it further later.
7. Keep a prayer journal of requests, and periodically go back and fill in answers to those requests. (Remember the faithfulness of God in answering your prayers!)
8. Change your prayer position ever now and then. If you usually sit in one spot, move to another one. Kneel, walk, or fall down on the floor with your face to the ground. Try lighting candles or playing soft praise music to set the tone for prayer.
9. If you find yourself lying awake at night, use that time to pray. Talk to God instead of counting sheep!
10. My friend Lorrie Flem shared this idea: Pray for certain people when you do certain daily tasks. Lorrie prays for her brother every time she brushes her teeth. This habit can invigorate the most mundane of tasks and make them purposeful. You might find you look forward to vacuuming when you know you will be spending time praying for your spouse while you do it!
11. Finally, remember that prayer is nothing more than a conversation with your Best Friend. He knows you intimately and loves you anyway. He wants to hear from you and doesn’t need a lot of pomp and circumstance to do so. If all else fails, keep it simple and just talk to Him all day long!
Dear Lord, I want my prayer life to be stronger. I want to spend more time talking to You and drawing closer to You. I pray that You would help me to be mindful of what I can do to make prayer a priority. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Application Step:
Write down three things you will do this week to make prayer a priority. Consider asking someone to hold you accountable to doing this.
Power Verses:
I Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray continually.” (NIV)
Romans 8:26 , “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words can not express.” (NIV)
Ephesians 6:18 , “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (NIV)
