God cares more than you think

An amazing testimony that i saw on a brother's blog:

Went for cell grp yesterday night. Had a chat with my leader Sharul. As usual we talk abt guitars n i asked him abt the Gibson guitar tt he used on Sun svc. Then he shared an amazing testimony.

He had a "Made in US" californian Fender telecaster at home so one day he decided to post it on guitar forums n see if it has market value n how much it can fetch. He got good offers n one day, there's a guy who called him n asked whether can he exchange his guitar with his. Sharul tot tt this guy muz be offering lower end guitars but to his surprise, the guy offered him a Gibson Classic or Custom which can cost between $3k to $5K. His Fender telecaster only cost around $1k plus.

So he went to this young chap house which is in Nassim Road(super rich). He went to his basement n he saw many guitars hanging on the wall, this guy is a collector. He brought him to 2 guitar cases n Sharul open it. Man, it's really a Gibson Custom n Classic. Tt guy wanna exchange one on one with Sharul's. Sharul was shocked n told him he did not wanna cheat him, his guitar doesn't match up to the guy's guitar at all. Tt guy didn't mind at all, cuz his collection lack a telecaster. Sharul took the Classic instaed of the Custom.

So Sharul told him why not exchange for 2 weeks first n see whether he still wanna exchange or not. Tt guy agreed. So Sharul took it back n play with the guitar. When he saw the serial no of the guitar, he was shocked. U see, 2-3 yrs back, Sharul went to a guitar shop n he saw a Gibson Classic n he played with it. He loved it very much, but he can't afford it at all. But he took down the serial no. n went home. He pinned up the pic n serial no. on his "dreams board" at home. Linda, his wife, prayed for his dream guitar whenever she pass by the board.


After a while Sharul didn't pray for it anymore but his wife kept praying for it. So when he looked at his guitar he was holding....he got a shock....the serial no. is exactly the same as the no. he took down of the guitar 2-3 yrs back...it's the same guitar!!!! He called his wife n he found out she has been praying for his dreams n even proclaim tt he'll hv more to come!!!

Hi again. Not been here for quite a long time due to many upcoming things for me. Apologies for that.

Well recently i have been going through exams, tests and many extra lessons and remedial that really felt burnt out in this process. And of course in the midst of all these, I often forget who really is my big boss in my life, God.

I would always have this mentality that it’s just a small thing in my life, why bother God for this? He have better and more important things to care about. Me? I’m just peanuts. Well many of us always think of this before.

However, God cares. You think that you’re too small for Him? He cares for you the same. If He don’t, why would He bother sending Jesus to die for our sins in the first place? And never be mistaken that if He cares for you He cannot care for others. Of course not! His love for everybody is the same. Why? Because He have already given you unconditional love.

Do you know that in the midst of a hurricane, in the center of the hurricane there is something called the eye of the hurricane and in there, everything is peaceful while outside of it goes the deadly swirls. Yes and that’s just how life can be too! In the midst of your swirls and twirls in life, focus on God and find your ‘eye’ today!

One breakthrough for the 100K Blessings Campaign is that I've made the decision to bless my classmates. I DARED! So I was really happy that I managed to pray for them because I really love them? Yeah, it was awkward at first. But(!), it was getting better as I managed to pray for more and more of my friends. I didn't bless A LOT of people though, but I was really happy when I pray for them. I kinda like the feeling to bless people. :) -claps for that. The feeling is so nice(!), because they would be blessed by God, whom they may not really understand at first.






Most importantly, I've gotta thank God for that courage and that yearning to bless more and more. So yeah, really grateful for that.






Once again, A BIG THANK YOU TO JESUS! :)








And I'LL GIVE A BIG TEDDY BEAR HUG TO MOMO. :))

The Servant Girl - Winning When Your Efforts Seem Insignificant

Key Verses: 2 Kings 5:1-3 (click)

+ One small act can make a Big Difference!

+ The result of the insignificant servant girl's one statement -> 2 Kings 5:15 'Let me (the great Commander of the army) be your (Elisha, a prophet) servant'

+ She brought about change in the life of Naaman. If she never dared to suggest him going to Elisha, he would just be crippled by leprosy forever.


1. She acted even though she was small
- Be Confident

+ The only thing recorded in the Bible of this servant girl was her one sentence in v.3.
+ She had no name.
+ She came from a shamed Northern Kingdom, Israel to become a slave, while Naaman was a top man in Syria.


+ Any fool can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed. - Bob Schuller

+ God just needs a seed which is willing to die, and that seed will sprout forth life in many others.

2. She acted even though what she could do was small
- Be Credible


+ All she could do was to connect Naaman to the God she knows, the God who hears.

+ All of us cannot save souls or redeem lives. All we can do, when we are willing, is to be conduits to link the lost to Jesus. Small deeds, but the effects are big.

3. She acted even though the risk was high
- Be Committed to Meet Needs

+ The stakes were high. Naaman was the General Commander of the strongest army at that time. If Naaman was not healed in the end, she would surely lose her life. The king of Israel (whom Naaman approached to look for Elisha) even 'tore his robes' (2 Kings 5:7), knowing how high the risks were.

+ Zechariah 4:6,10a "Who despises the day of small things?"

+
God specialises in using the small things
> Who would look upon a small baby born in a manger in a stable in a little town? Yet this baby grew to have His purpose fulfiled as the Savior of the World. Jesus.

Do not look down on every little effort that you are putting into the lives of others through the 100K Blessings. It can possibly lead someone to the road to life.

Hi Warrior Princesses,

How are you doing for 100K?

Let's run the full race for Jesus here.

1. We start by believing God for 20 persons first
If we begin the race believing ourselves to only finish half of the race, we will not reach the end. Start with the finishing line in mind!

2. Take the first step
All of us have done this! Well done!

3. Rely on God to direct your steps (to who to bless) and lean on His love and compassion
Sometimes we feel so ON, especially after blessing someone. Other times, we cower in fear. Yes, the race may get tiring; we start wondering why we started in the first place.

BUT God never ran half-way for us! God can continually top us up in His faith, compassion and love, when we ask Him. Many people out there need simply a listening ear, a touch of care, a little attention.

4. Support one another
Yes, partner one another to go out bless people. Ask me to do with you.
Be faithful to pray for one another in your 3x3 prayer groups.

Even if you stumble in the race, we will pick you up. =)



This Fri i had an answered prayer.

May it encourage you. God encourages me largely as I serve Him. To date I had blessed 22 persons (3 didn't leave their contacts).

Yes i had met my target, but I am starting on another round of the race. I will not be complacent and stop blessing. That will defeat the entire purpose of this 100K Blessings. I want to grow continually in faith!

Answered Prayer from 100K!

In every step of faith I have taken for God during this 100K campaign, much as the recepients were surprised, I was as much amazed myself at their responses - stunned, teary eyes, great smiles etc. Indeed God is opening many hearts; the land is thirsty!

I visited my ex-colleague Karen's family this Tues night to pass a birthday present to her daughter. Suddenly God prompted this in my heart - bless her entire family! I was both excited, yet a little fearful of how Karen, a staunch Buddhist, would respond. After some time of catching up and playing with her new puppy, I said,

'Karen, can I bless your family?' (I had blessed Karen before I left my previous workplace)

She replied instantly, 'SURE! Go ahead!"

In the next moments she was exclaiming on my behalf to her children and husband to look through the blessing list, telling them to quickly and seriously choose and then come to me one by one.
I told her, I felt like a doctor at a clinic (the armchair basically). Ha.

It really blew my mind to be able to bless an entire family on one seemingly normal night. And it would have remained normal if I had ignored God's prompting and drawn back in doubt.

I received a sms on Friday 'Oooh hey I got full marks for my test!'.

Last week Eejay and I met up with a young couple for dinner. The 19-year old young lady was in our Trybe (formerly Thumbs-up!) class five years ago, and both of us had each built up a special bond with her. We asked to bless her and her boyfriend for 100K, and the young man wrote 'Pray that I don't sleep' as one of his additional needs. Ha.

Well he was extremely stressed for his test this Tuesday, and concluded that only if he did not sleep at all then he could do well. We rebuked him gently, saying no to his request and turned the prayer request around to pray strongly that he would do exceedingly well for this test while receiving sufficient rest.

And praise the Lord! You read the answered prayer above - full marks!

1. Be honest with yourself and with others about your state - God knows and authenticity is the 1st step towards breakthrough
2. Look for someone to partner - someone who is bolder
3. Ask me to do it together with you
4. Believe God totally without holding back
5. Put action to your faith!

Celebrating Lilian, Belinda & Minghui!

... and exciting reports from 100k




Happy Birthday Lilian and Belinda!! You are God's workmanship, truly worth celebrating. On the day that God formed you in your mothers' wombs, I cannot imagine how delighted God was, looking at even your unformed bodies, simply imagining your beauty and form in His mind.

Minghui, all the angels in heaven are truly rejoicing over your rededication today! =)

Praise God for the chances for us to bless 3 persons for 100K during our celebrations today. I knew our prayers spoke power, hope and strength into their lives. More amazing things are in God's schedule.

Amanda and I together blessed an old couple selling icecream yesteday, after visiting Lilian at her Encounter. Indeed it is more blessed to give than receive - the uncle gladly gave us two bottles of drinks after praying and chatting. It is amazing to hear non-Christians agree with us that Jesus is good and powerful!

Shine on, daughters!

Indeed as Minghui said, God is more concerned about training us up in every small step of faith we take for Him, than the numbers we present to Him at the end of this campaign. We are going to grow closer to Him!

My Faith Story for 12 July

I was praying throughout today for God to grant me the chance to pray for at least one of the beauticians at my facial place tonight. Not unexpectedly I began to fidget upon reaching the vicinity and wondered, 'They are always so busy... What excuse should I use?'..

Reminding myself that the first step is BLESS... I scooted off to buy four bottles of chrysanthemun and offered them. FELLOWSHIP time was throughout my enjoyable facial. Haha.

Towards the end of the session, seeing that all of them were still busy, I began to talk myself into giving up. Yet I knew I had prayed and God would not let me leave like this. So at the last moment, I said to Nancy for the first time (Why didn't I do it last time??) and very sincerely, 'Nancy, do you know you can feel free to share your prayer requests with me? I will gladly pray for you'. My heart thumped slower.

Before I even described the 100k campaign to her, she began to share, frowning, about her worries about some possible problems with the landlord. Immediately I said, 'Come! I pray for you!', blessing her beyond what she shared. (Sharing of Real Needs - PRAYING ANSWERED PRAYERS)

The next moment, she looked at me with big watery eyes (like a cartoon character), cupped my face with both hands, then hugged me and began to thank me profusely. She said, 'You are really a very kind girl' and I replied, 'No, my GOD is good! Dare to ask God too yourself, anytime you need a blessing!'. (PROCLAIM) =)

Gals, the land is really filled with people with needs. Be bold to go and bless. The people out there are thirsty for blessings. And when they see us bless them with no strings attached, they are touched deeply by God's unconditional love. Will you be that representative today?

So joyful that God still used me even at my verge of giving up for today, I tried to bless the taxi driver who brought me home. I could not think of any opening line and blurted, 'Do you work until very late?'

The driver gave me a bewildered look, anxiously shook his head, and looked ahead. Oops case closed for this.

As I walked to my flat, I chuckled to myself, 'Oh no, did I sound like I wanted to ask him out just now??!!!!'

She received Christ last December but because of parents' objection, could not join us for service or cell. Been in contact with her all these months, and i know that the Lord has never let her go.

in Indonesia:

My mum says 'thanks!' for your birthday wishes to her too. =)
She can bathe, walk up and down the stairs by herself now, though she is still not involved in our shop cos' she needs to rest.

There are so many conferences this summer (referring to Ed Silvoso's), but I am missing all of them. =( Life somehow feels different for me nowadays, like it's just a passing time. There's nothing much to do, now that my mum has limitations. We used to do a lot of stuff at home alone. I guess I have adapted better. Anyway time passes fast, and I won't feel this way for long. =p
"

"Hello Police, I want to go to jail"

I heard this on Class95 one morning:


There's a serious problem in India (i think in New Delhi) - the prisons are terribly overcrowded.

People are choosing to commit crimes to get or stay in jail because of the good food they serve the prisoners. Much better than the poor out there can afford!


I didn't know what to feel after hearing this. These people actually choose to be in bondage. What happened to their dreams?? Have they lost hope in life because of poverty?

I suspect some of us are in fact like them. We choose to be in comfort zones and stop wondering what our dreams are for. Would you see beyond your 'prisons' today, unto the hint of light that seeps through a crack in the wall?


Don't deny it. Hope and freedom are what your heart truly longs for.



Many times Mr S.A.Tan entices us to stay put and not fight for the freedom that was intended for us, through seemingly good things. Like for the Indian prisoners, good food. But are you sure you live just to enjoy food? Isn't your heart crying out to find that greater purpose for your life?

Thus do not be deceived. God intended for us better things. He always intends the BEST for us. Beyond just food, shelter and money. Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'. The Bible is filled with instances which show that God is One who desires to bless us abundantly. Most importantly, 'the grace of our Lord' can be 'poured out on us abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus' (1 Timothy 1:15).


Don't deny it, what your heart truly wants is Love... a love that is real and eternal.


He wants to set us free. Choose to be.


I pray that the Indian prisoners see the Light beyond the walls. You too.

40 day prayer's july 02

Wanna blog this before I forgot about it heee... getting old mah

Was reading july 02 from 40 days of prayer guide book titled " Seeding the heart" this morning on the bus to work.

I came to the part of PROVERBS 24 (30-34) that goes
"I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgement; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned from what I saw: A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man."

Actually I was trying to read this 02july section last nite but went to sleep instead cos I chose to sleep and read it this morning on the bus. And the scripture above really spoke to me. Choosing to sleep instead of spending time with God will make me poor spiritual. A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest God says and the devil will come to rob me. Its pretty scary when words like bandit is used. Cos it means it will shock you and catch you off guard. I want to be more diligent and stop procastinating!

And reflection back to the cell retreat where I shared seeing the condition of my heart. God showed me a heart of stone. And july02 also spoke about this heart of stone and asked the state of our hearts. I thank God for speaking to me and I asked Holy Spirit to search, to probe, to reveal... and frankly I'm fearful of what will be revealed. hahahhaa But I know its necessary before I can have a pure heart.

Thanks for reading my sharing. I will try to come up here more often to write and read more and be more diligent heh!

REBEKAH - Winning When Others Ask for Help

Key Verses: Genesis 24:10-27 (click)

+ The winners in life are Givers!

+ Rebekah would say this to us: "Little did I know that my little (mundane) act of kindness could bless so many people, including my family!"

+ Yes, it determined Rebekah's destiny. She became the great (X many times) grandmother of Jesus.


1. Start Giving
- (it helps us to) Respond to the Purpose of God

+ Giving is the fundamental call of the Christian faith

+ Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

+ Jesus Himself gave so unconditionally.

+ Acts 20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

+ One who receives, receives and receives without giving out is like:
> A Tadpole -> Big head, small body
> The Dead Sea -> No output of its salt, only input

+ When we give, we grow, gain and our hearts enlarge.

+ 100k Blessings -> You think you are going to bless strangers? God says you are going to bless Angels (who will bless us back)! God's program is US.

+ ***Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

2. Second Mile Giving
- Releases the Power of God


+ Rebekah willingly offered to water the servant's camels
> 1 camel needs 20 gallons of water
> His 20 camels then need 400 gallons
> This will require Rebekah to carry water to and fro, between the source and the camels, for 2 hours!


+ Rebekah did something way beyond expectation.


+ Matthew 5:38-41 "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.

+ 'Second Mile Forgiveness':
Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times
.

+ 1st mile -> Out of Duty
2nd mile -> Out of Own Willingness
3rd mile -> Out of Love

3. Sacrificial Giving
- Reveals the Person of God

+ Not easy for Rebekah to go (she had never seen Isaac before, to think about marrying him? How is his family really like? etc). But she said 'I'll go'.

+ (In book of Hosea) Hosea was asked to marry Gomer, a prostitute. Even when Gomer sinned against Hosea and committed adultery again and again, Hosea sought his wife to forgive and reconcile with her.
Hosea -> Reveals the Person of God to her (and God's heart)
Gomer -> Represents the condition of the Israelites who had been unfaithful to God repeatedly


Some of us cannot give, because we have not received the love of God to the fullest extent.

It's been a wonderful journey (with you all). I can't imagine how much greater our walk together with Him will be in the future, knowing that He is that wonderful and big. =)

I'm glad to see you and my sisters grow so much in such a short time. You are all just beautiful and pleasing to God. =)

Novie will be flying to Indonesia this Sunday 7.15am with her mum, cousins etc. Continue to uphold her mother in prayer for the healing to be complete!

Hosanna in the Highest


The past two weekends we had been singing Hillsong United's Hosanna in our youth services.

It is an awesome song, stirring us deep, both its music composition and lyrics. I love it. There was a certain stillness in the air whenever we sang it.

But let me be honest with you, family. For the past two months since I knew this song, there are always certain parts in the bridge which, at times, I did not dare to sing. Some words got choked in my throat, and my voice hung in silence, in fear and trembling.

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

I could imagine Jesus excruciatingly saying the words above to the Father before His road to Calvary.


Do you really dare to ask the Lord to break your heart for what breaks His?


Are you really ready to give up everything of yourself for His kingdom?


A dear brother prepared me gently when I told him I really want to learn to love like Jesus does, "...that is going to be really painful.." I actually had to be reminded (again).


Now I am not asking you to treat this song like one for the saints. But may I call us all not to sing it flippantly. 'Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart' (1 Samuel 16:7b).

It is perfectly fine if we find that we need to walk a journey before we can mean every word with our heart. More importantly is whether we are consistently willing for the Lord to break us bit by bit, more and more, and mould us increasingly into His likeness.

I know the Lord is pleased with me even when I sing the bridge in a small and even trembling voice, so afraid that I do not mean each word. Each time my heart shudders and pains when I sing the word 'break', I give thanks to Jesus that even though I am not fully broken, I am still willing enough for Him to continue doing so...

till I can truly give everything I am for His Kingdom's cause..

... till Hosanna is in the highest.



Are we willing to step out of ourselves into situations whereby we know we can be broken, ie. the 100K Blessings? Hear this:

True enough, everytime i am distracted, feel dry or down for a moment, once i grab myself to remember who i am - i am God's daughter, i am God's, my heart is strengthened.

Then i know the past does NOT have to bind my feet, i have even the divine resources to push myself beyond my limits, and i can rest my already-decided future in the hands of God who gives the best!

Who are you? You are God's.

Listen Up, Everybody! :)

Hi everybody. I'm having tummy ache now so i'm going to type this post very fast and this would be a short one. :)

I'm feeling so fidgety lately. ARGH can be used too. I'm ill today and i didn't make it to school. wonder what's happening in school today... Ugh, my parents so strongly against me not attending school even though i'm sick and i don't want to be sick too! :/

I'm going to talk about yesterday's sermon because i did not attend processing due to the malaysia trip. I think i'm going to die or something like that. 'If you want to grow, you have to go.' Alrights, the definition of this sentence to me is that if i want to become stronger and more experienced, i have to get out of the safety zone and take the risk. It's like don't be afarid to take up any challenge because in the end, there's something beneficial awaiting for you. I think this is very inspirational as it motivates one to get on the go. If one keeps telling herself that she's tired or not good for anything, she won't be able to make it big or even dare to take up any challenge because she thinks that she can't do anything well and is a loser. Don't look at the past or brood over any past bondages as all these will demoralise you. Look at the future, visualise it as a bright bright one. This would help you to motivate your spirit and yearn for more. If one keeps living in the past, the person would only have the past in all her life. In conclusion, this parallels to our willingness to take risks for God and how much do we yearn for him. Are we able to really trust all our inheritance unto God's hands? If you do, you're on the road of blessings. If not, push yourself! A broken and contrite heart, I will not despise. :)

Muar-ha-ha-ha

After prayer meeting, let's talk about muar!

Heh. Yes this year i went with expectations to meet God plus also i wanted strength for the 100k too.

But then after reaching there, the sessions was good but then God didn't really touched me and i was kind of disappointed but told God, i don't know but all these times now, Lord take it, and do your work in me.

So here comes the second day!

I really thank God for the structure of the re-encounter this year. Although this year only had 3 sessions, the part where we did our study of the word and the Holy spirit thingy. I think it was really powerful.

There were also more bonding session which i was really thankful for. God spoke to me about faith and trust. The amazing thing was that God reminded me for the verse which says faith as small as a mustard seed can blah blah just that i could not remember where it was from.

In ministry at night, mummy got the same verse. haha. At nights, i don't know why just kept singing worship songs and could feel a new sense of joy.

And in church, i felt so joyful and also felt so much more bolder for God. I was also lead to pray for ah qi and didididina heng :P after service, if i was my old self, i will hesitate until all of us leave the hall.

BUT ARh today arh, i just went and pray for them leh! heh. Also prayed for novie's mom in CHINESE also leh. miracle right? hahaha.

We're In The GOD'S ARMY, Yes Sir!

Calling Out To ALL! :D

Prayer Meeting was superbly great. I mean FANTABULOUS! Laughs. The worship was truly awesome and what the singer-cum-maybe-a-pastor-i-don't-know is so true. " Worshiping = Praying " Songs of praises for Jesus and singing rather than saying is exactly praying! In fact, I prefer doing it in songs. I feel that by expressing our love for God by singing, shows and reveals our true feelings, emotions and whatever that we feel deep in our hearts. God loves our praises and worships for Him because He would so delirious with joy when we idolise and love Him as our One and Only living God. How GREAT is our God! Yeah, one thing that I should say. It is we should give our ALL AND ALL to Jesus! When it comes to singing praises or worshiping or doing whatever, WHATEVER for God, we should let go of ourselves and think only God, just not be so conscious of ourselves and express our ultimate love for Him in all the ways that we can. God already gave us ALL His love, couldn't we just give some to Him? I mean, definitely, we should give all. But, because God is so merciful and such a Mr. Nice, even a little bit of our love can touch Him because He really loves us a lot. None can compare to His great love! As for the 100k Challenge, i am sad and sorry to say that i feel nothing about it. So i pray that God will give me the passion and yearning to look forward to the challenge! This 100k challenge really challenges us. Not only in our boldness, but also tests us our faith and trust in God. If we believe in God who would give us the compassion and courage, we would do the challenge not only willingly but also do it for God! In the first place, we should not even think of ourseleves when doing this challenge but just entrust our successes unto God and He will do a miracle on us. It is just, do we believe in God? If we really love God, we should do it unconditionally like God ALWAYS does. So, no more murmuring, fear, disbelief or whatever because that are all SATAN'S WORK IN US! Sure, we do not want devil in us yeah? Therefore, pray for yourselves for this challenge! Believe, and you will be led by our WONDROUS EVER GOD!

Preparation for 100K Blessings!

Arise Warriors of Light, now is the time to prepare ourselves for the 100k campaign.

It starts with Prayer!

Let's pray daily for:
1) Protection
2) Compassion
3) Diligence

Bind the spirit of:
1) Fear
2) Unbelief
3) Murmuring

Matt 9:38
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

At the largest Prayer Meeting in the history of FCBC last night, i really felt the Corporate Anointing that God has been pouring upon His Warriors.

This line from Ps Khong stayed with me:
"The greatest authority God has given us is LOVE."

The authority to love, to share His love, to shine His love. How have i used this authority? Have i abused it? During the times when i chose not to love?

My heart broke last night. And i know the Lord has been breaking me a lot this month to prepare this vessel for Him. Tears streamed down my cheeks, in repentance and then receiving against the touch of God's love in my heart.

I cried to the Lord, 'More Lord, more Lord... Soften my heart more Lord. I need Your anointing of Love and Compassion MORE!'

What is God's word for you?

During the EJ288 Re-encounter, each of us was asked to seek God for a word for the 100k Challenge.

Since He is our Chief Commander, and He truly understands our hearts, He definitely knows what to give to us individually to encourage us personally.

This is what the Lord told me:

I who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 1:6)

100% God

And this was my response to God:

(i will) see to it
that i complete the work i have received
in the Lord.
(Colossians 4:17)

100% man

(Notice my own 'i' are in small letters)


Yes, it should always be:

100% God + 100% man



What is God's word for you?

Are you spending enough time with Him as you prepare yourself and your heart for the Challenge? If your answer is no, most probably you will end up relying on yourself and wearing yourself out during it.

We cannot afford to be passive.

When your walk goes dry

i sought Amanda's permission to copy her post 'When your walk goes dry' from her minisermons blog (just added to blogroll). Go check out her treasures at that blog!

When i first read her 'secret' blog, i teared. Every word there showed me her heartfelt desire to grow in the Lord in and through all circumstances. She struggled, but clung on and grew deeper in Him. That is a true woman of God's strength.

Hard to believe she is only 15+ of age, and a 3-yr old Christian. Well praise God for transforming our lives! Aman dear, i am ultra supra dupra proud of you! =)

When your walk goes dry

Recently i was very dry in my relationship with God that i soon gave up and let things be. I was only brought back as i confronted the problems i was having. And this blog too birthed out as i did not want to go back into the state of “dryness” and that i wanted to fully commit myself to God.

So far, this blog has been ‘forcing’ (i willingly let myself be forced) me to look onto God for revelations and to ask God and look unto Him for directions.

Many times we will experience dry parts of our life in seeking God and so be too caught up with everything around us too busy to look unto God and thinking that it doesn’t matter.

When i was in that state, i never pray. I just thought let me be, i can settle it myself don’t have to bother God. I’m too small for Him, too worthless. Why should he cares? Prayer have got no use to me at that time.

But of course that was totally off course. Of course He cares and He will answer the prayer i prayed as seen from Luke 18:1-8

1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

4“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’ “

6And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”


From this passage, the word that came to my mind was, persevere.

Even through everything that happened to me in my life, i still attended church and i really thank God for that. And through this, i was also brought back to God the creator.

When you are in a rough patch of your life, would you still continue praying and thanking God for everything? Would you continue to trust God when you’re down?

I thank God that He never let let me go as He had promised.

Deut 31:6-Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

This song really ministered to me and i pray that even for people who may be reading this, i pray that you can persevere and experience the goodness of God.

Encounter was alright for me. I didn't really had a different experience or whatever.
Just for a few moments though, when I feel God's boundless love for me and His everlasting promise of blessings. Sometimes we reject God's interference in our daily lives and you could just feel how heartbroken God will be. By doing this, we're actually sinning against God. I filled the stronghold list and realised how sinful I am actually, Thanks be to God, that He sent His One and Only Son down to the earth and die for us on the cross that our sins may be washed away by His blood.
We should not have any strongholds in our lives and instead, let God be our stronghold. So, burn all your sinful strongholds away because they keep you away from God. Let God control yor lives instead of all that strongholds. We face many disappointments, rejections, hurts and pains in our lives. God has planned them so that we could be broken and humble in front of Him. If ouyr lives has always been so smooth-sailing, would we seek God? Actually to me, it's a no. Through all these, then we could become very mighty and strong Warriors of Lights who are never afraid of setbacks and attacks. In short, God just wants to be with us because He really loves us very dearly.
